What YogAmico® is
YogAmico® is an educational kit designed to introduce children to the world of yoga. It is a game to help children learn about the wonderful oriental discipline through a journey that will make them think, dream and discover new positions of the body, breath, being together.
The legend
According to ancient legend that tells of the birth of yoga, a fish that lived in a small lake turned into a man practicing the ancient discipline. Then hid the treasure and drew a map so you can find it.
Here begins the journey, after finding the map children go in search of Yoga.
They go with the Whale Brina, who leads them to the islands on which they experience various stages of yoga, discover old lost values, they will learn some of the yoga postures, their breath, and they will be transformed into elements of nature to experience the need to be different contributing to the construction of a whole!
A dinamyc game of imagination
YogAmico® isn’t a boardgame with dice and board, but a teaching tool that helps you to become aware of the body in space, of the breath, of the relaxation, and being together.
Stimulates the imagination through the tale. Children can imagine the village where they live, the whale will be their means of transport, flying carpets and become elements of nature. All this journey is experienced dynamically, using the body to create the adventure.
How last the game? Who is it for?
The game in its full version, lasts less than an hour, but you can live it freely, choosing to make only the positions, or a simple relaxation. YogAmico is a game with no age: it is recommended for an age range from four to nine years, but everyone can play. It can also be used by teachers and parents who want to introduce to students and children this wonderful discipline.
What is included inside the kit?
The kit includes: a map for the journey, a detailed guide, the puzzle “Mandala of the five elements”, the deck of the positions, the deck of transformations and two cds with music composed on purpose for the kit (with and without voices guide). All within a cardboard box, which you can have in the wooden versionpainted by hand (one-piece and numbered).
