..from it’s origins to the realization
YogAmico is an educational kit designed to let know children, and not only the world of yoga. It can be used by teachers and parents who want to introduce to students and children this wonderful world.
The idea was born with Fausto, Mariarosa and Donatella, three friends who teach yoga. We created the exam sequence of the course of study we followed in 2006.
One Saturday afternoon we met and thinking about how to prepare for the exam we started to develop ideas. More and more we talked we were able to bring together and fit what we said.
In a short time the sketch of the story was born, the main intention was that there were the basical steps of yoga, so everything has been thought of in the eight stages of yoga of Patanjali.
We also arranged for other Saturdays where everything has been refined and completed.
Together we have created the mandala, which is included in the kit. Thanks to a friend I managed to have the music suitable for the journey that we wanted to do. I found the clothes to represent the islands of the trip. In short, everything was ready.
When we proposed our exam sequence the group was enthusiastic and we were really happy.
So I thought not to left it a simple exam sequence, and I wanted to make it available to anyone wishing to approach in a whole new way to yoga. I wish you a good journey.
